Honesty I believe is the first quality I would look for in a real estate agent followed closely by work ethic. A real estate agent should put his or her client’s needs and feelings before their own. Now how hard or smart a real estate agent works for his client is a whole other subject entirely. First off smart work beats all the hard dumb work a real estate agent can do every time. A smart real estate agent who works hard is unbeatable. I was a successful building contractor before a construction accident in march of 2003. I never thought there was much to what a real estate agent did to get his commission. I was wrong a good agent gets the job done and can save his client money and a lot of frustration along the way.. In today’s real estate market are so many things to do to market your home or search for the perfect property for your needs. Using some simple rules of thumb sets me apart from a bad or lazy real estate agent. Just the fact that I return every call I get that day makes the client-agent relationship go so much smoother. I also keep in close touch with all of my client through weekly calls and emails. Let me give you an example of a situation where a good agent could save you money when selling your home. A good marketing plan would cut down the time your house was on the market saving you from costly price reduction after reduction or losing the deal you have found on your next place. In my book a price reduction is not a marketing tool, it is my job to get you market value for your home!
