What am I all about.

I grew up in Frankfort and attended Lincoln-Way High School and Joliet Jr. College When I was 18 yrs old I started working for Torrence construction, a local construction company. I had plenty of jobs before that but none were as interesting or personally satisfying as the job building homes and doing commercial jobs. I knew almost immediately that this was were I needed to be. I believe that the men that I worked for saw a young man who was a quick learner and a hard worker. I have to admit having a great interest in construction made the work and the learning experience easy, this is still true even today. When I was 22 yrs. old I started Bill's Builders, my own construction co. I had four to five full time employees, we built new homes, remodeled older homes, worked on commercial projects, and had a pretty good time doing it. Most of our work was done in the Frankfort, Manhattan, New Lenox, Mokena, and Will County area. I was a hands on type of boss and spent many hours with a tool belt on working right next to my guys all the while running sales appointments and writing estimates and contracts in the evenings. If you are reading this and had any work done by Bill's Builders please feel free to contact me just to check in, I would love to hear from you.
     Since the age of 18 I have lived in Frankfort, Orland Park, Mokena, Lockport, Bradley, Elwood, Chicago, New Lenox, and Manhattan. I have worked in all of those places and everywhere in between. It is needless to say that I am familiar with many neighborhoods, probably yours our one near yours. During this time I managed to get married and have three children. My daughter is my oldest at 8, she does very well in school and is in gymnastics in New Lenox. My boys are twins at 6 they also do well in school and they wrestled last year for the Lincoln-way wrestling club. We live just West of Manhattan. We are very active and try to find things to to whenever and where ever we can It takes a lot of energy to keep up with those guys. The kids and I love to fish during the Summer and go sledding in the Winter. The wife is gone.
    I have always been very into the outdoors. I spent summers as a kid in Hayward Wisconsin where my Grandparents retired, fishing from morning until dark. I carried on fishing and hunting as much as possible through my adult years with some snowboarding in the winter. My schedule and these activities worked out pretty go, I could hunt and snowboard during the winter when work was not so thick and fish on rain days. I am and always have been a guy who can't sit still. When there is work to be done I want to get it done as best and as smart as possible. the same rule goes for play, I have always wanted to be successful at what ever I am doing work or play. I learned a lot from my Grandfather who told me "anything worth doing is worth doing right!" and about work done smart " any fool can repeat an action over and over a smart man finds a way to get it done faster and better every time he does it!" I think of those lessons and many others when ever I do anything.
      Now here is where things get a little different than your average Midwestern family man's story. In 2003 I was injured on a job in Peotone. I was thrown off of a 24 ft. scaffold landing head first on the ground. The incident left me paralyzed  from my chest down. If you are feeling sorry for me please don't. This in no way has me beat! I was not raised to let it. My Grandmother who was a Marine during WWII raised my father who was also a Marine Serving in Vietnam would sure be let down if I just gave up. The successful man that I was before has to and will carry over to my life now. So my little guys can see that anything is possible with the right attitude. My children will never be able to say " it's to hard, I can't do it" without giving it their best shot. This motivates me everyday!
     My physical condition does not in any way prevent me from getting my job done. There are many real estate web sites out there most of them have auto populated content that come with the site and can apply to anyone. Not this one! I did not take this job because I thought it would be easy or for the easy money. Besides those days are gone and so are many of the agents that were looking to enter a property into the multiple listing service and call it a day. There are still listings posted without even one picture let alone the twenty pictures I post for a listing. With 93% of people starting their search for a Home or commercial property on the Internet the bulk of the work done to list or find a home or commercial property is done right here from my home office. Just think about that if 93% of people start their search online and your real estate agent is not tech savvy? How are you going to sell your home or commercial property for the best possible price in the least amount of time? Believe me time is of the essence more than most people know. If your home carries a long market time it sends a bad message, either there is something wrong with your home or you are to high priced and to stubborn to reduce it, is what most real estate agents will think. Internet exposure is what gets your home or commercial property sold for the price you want. On the side of the buyer which most sellers are also all of this information can be found buy an agent who knows his way around the Internet. I am confident that I can find you that home that will sell for 50k,60k,70k, under market value and give you a bidding strategie that will get you that property.Just shoting in some lowball bid won't cut it you need all the facts to get the most out of your real estate investments. There are so many foreclosed and bank owned homes that are only on the market for a few days before they are picked up. Only a real estate agent that is on the ball and Internet smart can get you in on these deals! I am that agent. Take some time to shop around for a competent real estate agent. He or she will save you and make you a great deal of money in the long run. I hope reading this has shown you that I have a great zeal for what I do.
